At the completion of our book’s Special Expanded One (1) Year Anniversary Edition and Screenplay, we decided to move further in the process and consider a Sizzle or Promotional Reel in 2022.

Similar to a marketing motivated trailer, a Sizzle Reel is a comprehensive, short visual summary providing a captive audience with a clear view of the story, but a Sizzle Reel is primarily geared toward decision makers, whom can assist in making the entire story come to life in the form of either a feature film or television series.

Our book plan is to include updated content at the five (5) and ten (10) year marks, but the Screenplay is a totally different animal, which allowed us to do much more, especially in the areas of creativity with additional characters and detail.

The book certainly wasn’t meant to be anything more than a literary glimpse or snapshot through life, while the actual Screenplay runs well over a hundred (100) pages, which assuming a minute a page, can easily run over ninety (90) minutes long… and seems just about right for a story of this type.

A Sizzle Reel normally runs approx. two to three (2 to 3) minutes, which may sound challenging when highlighting a life story in a short period of time. Nevertheless, we accepted the challenge.

I’m sure many of us have compared books and screenplays to previous works we enjoyed reading and/or attending. It’s unavoidable when there are likenesses! In comparing our project, there are resemblances to blockbusters such as The Wonder Years, Father of the Bride, Goodfellas and even Casino. That being said, there are also unique differences with a true story spanning over five (5) decades.

The actors and their scenes from our Sizzle & Insights links were filmed on location vs. a studio since in our opinion, filming on location lends to authenticity in effectively communicating a real/true story.

As an active participant along with experiencing our actors in other snippets, there is much appreciation for their craft. The memorization, emotion and magic they bring to the screen aren’t easy. Several takes can be frustrating and somewhat exhausting, but our producers seemed to have captured the best of the best from those takes.

It’s a little weird watching ourselves through other actors, but, in our opinion, true stories of regular people are among the best that we’ve seen.

Hopefully, further interest in our Sizzle Reel distribution will result in either a feature film or television series, and for website purposes, we sincerely hope you enjoy some additional Behind the Scenes footage from our cast as preparation for the roles following an extensive search from the Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York areas along with Insights from the Author.
